User interface and design system for a self-service laundry network

Bubbles is an innovative self-service laundry network providing washing and drying services in their 24/7 laundry shops.

The automated system of Bubbles operates with a mobile application; and with a self-service kiosk in the laundry shops that gives users the ability to reserve the machines and start the washing programs.

Bubbles invited our team to collaborate on shortening their release cycles with a component-based design system that they can apply on all platforms.

We built a token-based design system composed of hundreds of components. With the help of this design system, we assembled the final user interface for the mobile app, the self-service terminal, and the client portal.

As a result, the design is easily adaptable for different screen sizes, the release cycles have been cut substantially, and all the applications have a consistent look.
